Aditro Logistics acquires logistics operations from Maersk Logistics

Aditro Logistics acquires Maersk Logistics’ warehousing capacity in Borås as a part of Aditro Logistics fast expansion. Maersk Logistics will however continue to offer international transportation services from their facitility in Borås under the brand Damco.

- This is an important part of our expansion plans. We are growing fast in both Norway and Sweden since and many companies are planning to outsource their Logistics operations in the recession says Matthias Kettelhoit, Head of Aditro Logistics.

Aditro Logistics takes over the operations from Maersk including staff, forklift trucks, storage and warehouse etc. This also means that some customers are added to the Aditro Logistics’ customer list. Among those are Kärcher. Aditro Logistics will take care of their logistics operations in Sweden and Denmark. Aditro has now got 42 000 square meter storage facilities in Borås.

- This fits our Borås operations perfectly since we have many fast growing customers and our existing storage facilities are full. This will improve our existing customers logistics operations at the same time as we get new customers, says Kenny Rutgersson, responsible for Aditro Logistics in Borås.

- We are pleased that we have found a solution that is good for Maersk Logistics, our employees and our customers in the long run, says Thomas Kristensen, Managing Director at Maersk Logistics in the Nordics, Baltic & Russia.
